Start early!

The truth is that whatever you intend to do, be it starting a business or getting a job do it early. What do I mean by starting early. Aside the favour of nature blessing early starters, there are a high possibility of correcting errors made on time.
Which ever one you decide to do be it getting a job or starting a business, the important thing is to start early or better still start today. The reason is that if you are getting a job, your promotion will look faster and you will be able to add more qualification to your current one thereby enhancing your quicker promotion. The same applies in business, if you start early, your mistakes will be overcome within the first few years of your starting so you have more ground before many other people join the business. Also starting early helps you stay ahead of others that started after you. Whatever is the business idea that you have, you need start now, make your mistakes so that by the time others join in you gone far past that stage. Starting early keeps you ahead, gives you early experience and helps you climb the ladder of success faster. Punctuality is the sole of business. Whatever you want to do, do quick!

Nigeria not ripe for agricultural export!

Over the years, the jingles about returning to agriculture has increased. Even a child would tell you that the solution to the Nigerian problem is returning to agriculture. The problem I have with those advocating for a return to farming has always been emphasis on exporting agricultural produce for foreign exchange. The truth is that we are not yet self sufficient and therefore should not be talking of export. One of the reasons why the prices of agricultural produce are costly and scarce today is because a large chunk that should have remained in circulation has been moved to the port for export. The local industries cannot even depend on our agricultural sector because of inconsistency in supply. If we therefore desire our industries to grow, it's time we stop export and focus first on local production and satisfaction. The excess can serve as export.
