In as much as we advocate for more patronage of Nigerian products, we also advocate for production of quality products.Every man wants a reward for all his investment. We cannot say we want to buy Nigerian products and be buying substandard products. All entrepreneur must make it a duty to see that all goods produced in Nigeria can compete actively with the same product any where in the world. Continual improvement on products made in Nigeria from time to time is one sure way to ensure that our product compete with international standards. We must also invest heavily in research especially in our institutions. One of the ways to improve our educational sector of these dwarf performances is to invest and encourage them to research, by so doing, we would be sure we are producing graduates per excellence equipped for the industries. We must also value our employees because they are the backbone of standard we so desire to keep or meet. From time to time, we must check for newer improvement in whichever product line we operate in so we don't become out dated or abrahamic. If all made in and would be made in Nigeria products aspire for these quality or excellence in production, we would soon become the best we can, if not in the world, in Africa.
It is good that the clamour for Nigerians to return to agriculture from the Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration of 1976 has been sustained by successive government. However, the problem with most of the call to return to agriculture is that those clamouring for such end with the thought of exporting the agricultural produce, this I disagree with. The question is ‘who are the farmers?’ because most times we want everybody to go back to the farm and if I understand what we are saying we are simply encouraging subsistence farming which from age past have never reduce unemployment or increase government revenue. What types of agriculture should we then do?
